Bruschetta is an Italian starter. Enjoy it also for a snack with a glass of red wine. Slice the ciabatta and toast until light brown.
Meanwhile pour boiling water over the tomatoes and peel of the skin. Remove all the seeds and juices from the tomatoes. Finely dice the tomatoes. Finely slice the scallions and add to the tomatoes. Season with oregano, fresh basil, freshly ground pepper and salt. Cut a garlic clove in half and rub in the ciabatta slices. Daub the ciabatta slices with a little bit of olive oil. Thinly spread the tomato mix on each slice and serve warm.
