Lentil Soup

lovage
meat broth
pepper, salt
Wiener sausages
potatoes

Serves 3 - 426 cal per serving
Prep-time: 20 min. - Total-time: 120 min.
Soak the lentils over night covered with water. On the next day, dice the bacon and fry in a pan. Dice the onions and add to the bacon, fry until glossy. Now add the lentils and the water. Peel, wash and dice the potatoes. Wash and finely cut the greens (vegetables for soups). Add to the lentil soup. Add the bay leaf and the lovage. Pour in the broth and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to lowest setting and simmer for 50-60 minutes. Season with pepper and salt, not until the soup is almost done. Otherwise the lentils won't soften. 10 minutes before the soup is done, add the Wiener sausages. If desired season with cider vinegar to taste.
