For the Bamberger Cheese Tub's you'll need long, small baguettes, about 30 cm / 12 inches long. Coarsely grate the Edam cheese, dice the ham and slice the fresh mushrooms. Put in a bowl and mix. Peel the onion cut in half and slice thinly. Add the onion to the cheese mix. In a separate small bowl whisk the egg yolks and season strongly with pepper, salt and paprika. Add to the cheese mix and stir. Lengthwise cut the baguettes in half (in the upper third). You need a smaller and a larger half. Hollow out the larger half. Fill in the cheese mixture. Pre-heat the oven to 355 F. Put the Bamberger Cheese Tub's on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Bake on the middle rung for about 10 minutes until the cheese starts melting. Serve with a glass of beer or wine.
