Barbecue steak with green beans and bacon tastes delicious with fried potatoes from the baking tray (see recipe Roast Potatoes). Clean, rinse and place the green beans in a saucepan. Cover beans with water and season with savory. Add no salt, so that the beans become soft. Put a lid on the pan, boil up the green beans and cook over medium heat for about 15 minutes until done. Cut streaky bacon into small cubes. Peel the onion and dice finely. Drain the green beans in a colander. Heat butter in a saucepan, sauté bacon and onions and toss the beans in it. Season the green beans with salt and a pinch of cayenne pepper. Brush a grill pan with corn oil, heat well and fry the Sirloin steak on both sides for about 1 minute sharp until brown grill marks show on the steak, as seen above in the picture. Reduce heat and fry the barbecue steak for 3-4 minutes per side. Season steak with salt and cayenne pepper. Serve the Barbecue steak with green beans and bacon with some BBQ sauce.
